Yoga training for children from 3 to 10 years old in Rennes - summer 2020-
Yoga training for children from 3 to 10 years old
6-9 July 2020 in Rennes
"I have the privilege of teaching yoga to children for ten years, including 8 years in school and 5 years for children from 3 to 10 years in the same school. So I could see the effects positive immediate and long-term yoga sessions with children growing up with it. Management and teachers have also seen these benefits. Children are the future and yoga provides them with tools for health, peace and Self-awareness . What a boon to be able to feed and support them in this way, what an opportunity! It is a real pleasure. If you also feel called to this work, contact me.
The purpose of this 25-hour training course is to allow participants to:
to appropriate the tools of yoga and meditation for children from 3 to 10 years old.
to be able to lead yoga sessions for children in school or not and to create a program over several weeks.
to use a variety of "tools" complementary to yoga such as guided visualization, self massage, etc ...
to acquire knowledge about the child's development, physiological, cognitive and psychology capacities.
At the end of the course , the participants are assessed with a view to obtaining a certificate.
Prerequisite: none for yoga teachers or people with a regular, serious and long-standing yoga practice.
Next training: from July 6 to 9, 2020 in Rennes.

Chair yoga training for seniors in Rennes - spring 2020 - with Claire Livingston and Béatrice Maudonnet
This training is for yoga teachers wishing to adapt their practice on a chair to offer yoga sessions to seniors at home or in retirement homes. Claire Livingston has been working in a retirement home since 2007 for weekly yoga sessions. It trains yoga teachers but also nursing home staff in the tools of yoga and chair meditation. Béatrice Maudonnet has been practicing and teaching yoga for 30 years and she works in retirement homes as well as in associations for able-bodied seniors. They each created a teaching manual which brings together all the tools used during the sessions. They will share their experience during this weekend.
The number of places is limited to encourage discussion, practice and training for everyone with chair yoga. Thus each trainee leaves with the skills necessary to guide sessions on the chair. A certification is awarded at the end of the internship.
The price of 400 euros includes training, manuals and a conference / intervention by Danielle Thiébaud, psychologist specializing in aging to understand the elderly person and their needs.
